Copyright Policy

1. What dare.diy owns

Unless otherwise noted, dare.diy and its operators own the copyright in the site's original content, including:

• Site design, layout, branding, and copy written for dare.diy.
• Original blog posts and editorial summaries created by our team.
• Curated metadata we compile (tags, categories, internal descriptions).
• Software, scripts, and scraper tooling that powers the vault.

2. Personal use license

You may view and use dare.diy for personal, non-commercial purposes — browsing the vault, saving opportunities to your dashboard, and sharing individual links to the site. You may not:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or republish our database or listings without permission.
• Remove copyright notices or misrepresent dare.diy content as your own.
• Use our brand, logo, or name in a way that implies endorsement without consent.
• Resell or commercially exploit our curated data or site code.

3. Third-party content

The vault aggregates opportunities from public sources — RSS feeds, official program pages, job boards, and user submissions. Titles, descriptions, logos, and outbound links often belong to third parties. dare.diy does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks or copyrighted materials.

Links and short excerpts are provided for discovery and reference. If you are a rights holder and want content removed or corrected, see Section 5.

4. User submissions

When you submit an opportunity, you represent that you have the right to share that information. By submitting, you grant dare.diy a non-exclusive license to display, format, and link to that submission on the Service. You retain ownership of your original submission text.

Brokers who add affiliate overrides must only use tracking links they are authorized to use under each program's terms.

5. DMCA / copyright complaints

If you believe content on dare.diy infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@dare.diy with:

• Your name and contact information.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The URL or description of the material on dare.diy you want removed or changed.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to disputed material. Repeat infringers may have accounts terminated.

6. Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, email us with enough detail for us to review. We may restore content if appropriate under applicable law.
