1. FTC disclosure

dare.diy participates in affiliate programs. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click a link and sign up, purchase, or complete an action, we may earn a commission or referral fee at no extra cost to you.

We disclose this relationship clearly on the site (including in the footer) and in these policies so you can make informed decisions.

2. Default dare.diy links

Across the vault, blog, discounts, and AI tools sections, we may use default affiliate or referral links where available. These links help fund hosting, curation, and development so the core service can stay accessible.

We aim to:

• Only link to opportunities we believe are legitimate and useful.
• Label or contextually indicate sponsored or affiliate relationships where practical.
• Never let affiliate potential override accuracy — expired or sketchy opps get pulled.

3. Broker affiliate overrides

Broker subscribers ($11/month) can attach their own affiliate or referral links to certain vault opportunities (“overrides”). When a visitor clicks an override link and completes a qualifying action, the Broker may earn the commission — not dare.diy's default link.

Important points about overrides:

• Overrides are set by individual Brokers; dare.diy does not guarantee their accuracy or payout.
• Brokers are responsible for complying with each affiliate program's terms.
• We may remove overrides that violate our policies, mislead users, or point to harmful content.
• Override performance stats are provided for convenience — third-party networks are the source of truth for earnings.

4. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data to advertisers.
• We don't run third-party ad networks that track you across the web.
• We don't guarantee that any affiliate link will pay out — that's between you and the third party.

5. Third-party sites

When you leave dare.diy via any link (affiliate or not), you're subject to that site's terms, privacy practices, and eligibility rules. We aren't responsible for third-party products, services, sweepstakes rules, scholarship decisions, or gig payments.

6. Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not determine which opportunities appear in the vault. Listings are curated for relevance to students and side-hustlers; affiliate availability may influence which link we use, not whether an opportunity is listed.

7. Questions from Brokers

If you're a Broker and need clarity on acceptable override practices, email hello@dare.diy before pointing traffic somewhere questionable. We'd rather answer upfront than remove links later.
